Courses cover every type of engineering topic imaginable, including biological engineering, chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and nuclear science engineering.
Delft University of Technology (tudelft.nl)
Delft University of Technology, the largest engineering school in the Netherlands, makes several free engineering courses available online. Most of the courses currently available focus on offshore engineering, computer engineering and bioengineering, but new courses are planned for the future. Although the courses are free, Delft faculty make sure the content in comprehensive to enhance the self-learning experience.
Utah State University (usu.edu)
Utah State University provides an excellent selection of free engineering courses through their OpenCourseWare program. Most of the courses deal with biological and irrigation engineering, civil engineering and environmental engineering, electrical engineering and computer engineering. Course materials consist of multimedia elements, such as text and images.
University of California, Berkeley (Berkeley.edu)

Carnegie Mellon University (cmu.edu)
At this time, Carnegie Mellon University only offers one free engineering course through their Open Learning Initiative. But it is a very good course for anyone interested in civil or mechanical engineering. Modules are comprehensive and updated frequently.
